Norwegian technology company ODIM ASA wins NOK95m crane order from Zhejiang Shipbuilding

Norwegian technology company ODIM ASA that it has received an order for two advanced deepwater cranes from Zhejiang Shipbuilding, part of the Chinese group Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group.
The order, valued at NOK95m, covers two 150-tonne ODIM ABAS deepwater cranes with active heave compensation. The cranes will be installed on two subsea vessels under construction at Zhejiang Shipbuilding in China for Neptune Offshore.
ODIM will deliver the cranes in late 2009 or early 2010.
ODIM, headquartered in Hareid, Norway, develops and sells cable handling systems and winches for use on offshore and naval vessels. The company reported revenue of NOK1.42bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 10.78 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
