Port Goteborg (Sweden) handles 16.3 mln t of oil products in Jan-Sep 08

In January-September, 2008, the port of Goteborg (Sweden) handled 16.3 million tonnes of oil products (+15%, year-on-year), PortNews IAA learnt from press center of the port. In the reported period, the port’s container throughput climbed by 4%, year-on-year, to 650,000 TEU, transshipment of ro-ro cargo fell by 4%, year-on-year, to 450,000 units. In January-September, the port also handled 215,000 machines (-9%, year-on-year).
