Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Mikhail Oseevsky and Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industry Policy and Trade was given a task to monitor situation at municipal enterprises, where financial crisis may cause credit problems including obtaining and payment of credits. As St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matvienko said at the meeting of St. Petersburg Government held on Tuesday, “the city is willing to interfere”, BIA reports.
“Upon an agreement with Sberbank President we have had a meeting with the Head of the North-West Bank of RF Sberbank and a loan portfolio is to be formed to provide financial assistance if necessary. Any alarm is to be immediately analyzed for a prompt respond,” she said.
