Despite the declining market, Stena Line does expect to see growth in its three North Sea services in 2008: 370,000 units in comparison with last year’s 359,000.
Hook of Holland - Harwich will go from 165,000 to 173.000, Hook - Killingholme from 78,000 to 90,000 and Rotterdam – Harwich from 110,000 to 115.000.
Stena’s market share on the North Sea routes is 17%, 65% of which is freight, and 7% of the total market including the short sea (lo/lo) routes.
