It looks like the ferry service between St. Petersburg and Helsinki might continue quite soon.
According to the local news of Yle’s Kymenlaakso radio two Russian companies and the city of St Petersburg would be interested in buying half of the Finnish company Stella Naves Russia and restart the traffic. Stella Naves Russia closed down its ferry service with the ferry Julia earlier this month due to financial problems, Scandinavian Shipping Gazette reports according to RZD-Partner.
