As of October 25, Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC has fulfilled its annual plan for cargo handling. According to the company’s production department, from January 1 to October 25 the port handled 5.011.4 million tonnes of cargo (+36%, year-on-year).
In the reported period, transshipment of export cargo amounted to 2.480.9 million tonnes, import – 1.565.9 million tonnes, coastal trade cargo - 964,600 tonnes.
Regardless the increased cargo handling the port’s infrastructure project are in progress at the berths No14, 15, 5, 8.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok OJSC owns and operates the property complex of the port of Vladivostok, one of Russia’s largest ports in the Far East. In 2007, the company’s throughput totaled 4.855.8 million tonnes (+20%, year-on-year).
Commercial Port of Vladivostok operates 17 berths including container, passenger, motor car specialized berths.
