ICTSI H1 profits up 17%
Increased volumes and lower financing costs helped drive a 17% increase in first half profits for International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI), Seatrade Asia online reports.
Manila-headquartered ICTSI reported first half net profits up 17% at $70.3% compared the same period last year, while revenues increased 8% to $345m.
“The higher net income attributable to equity holders for the first semester was mainly due to the modest growth in volume and revenues in all three geographic segments, and lower financing charges,” ICTSI said. Container volumes handled by ICTSI in the first half the year were up 9% at 2.69m teu.
