PLP’s H1 profit slumps 31.2 percent, to RUB 918.9m

Net income of Petrolesport, according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), for the first half of 2012 fell by 31.2% from a year earlier, to RUB 918,948,000, the company press release said.

PLP reported a slight decline in the half-year revenues, to RUB 2,918,779,000.

Petrolesport (JSC PLP), part of Global Ports Group, is a stevedoring company operating at the Big Port of St. Petersburg. The company provides services for handling a broad range of cargoes (reefer containers, Ro-Ro cargo, timber, general cargo). PLP is a leading private company in the North-West region of Russia by container traffic volume.
