Hapag-Lloyd hikes rates on Japan-East Asia trade

Hapag-Lloyd has announced rate increase for all cargoes shipped from Japan to East Asia cargoes, effective October 1, 2012, the carrier press release said.

The increase will be:

USD 100 per TEU

East Asia is defined as being the countries of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, the Philippines and Russian Pacific Coast Provinces.
