Dalian opens China’s first professional ship assessment agency

Dalian Port controlled Dalian International Ship Exchange Market has opened China’s first professional port and shipping assessment agency, Dalian Port and Shipping Assessment Company on Monday. A ship appraiser training project also started on the same day, SinoShipNews reports.
 “It’s a big step forward of the development of Dalian’s high-end shipping service platform, it also means port and shipping assets in China will have professional assessment standards,” said an official from Dalian Port Group.
