On April 2, 2009, Palmali Group signed a contract with TNK-PB, “according to which Palmali will arrange transportation of crude and oil products by inland waterways of the Russian Federation and their transshipment to the storage tanker in the Kerch Strait, PortNews IAA learnt from the Moscow office of Palmali.
During the coming navigation the Group’s tankers are to transport 1 million tonnes of oil cargo for TNK-ВР.
Palmali tanker fleet opened river navigation 2009 in south direction on March 23. 18 units of the fleet currently operate at river routes.
