Environment inspector Oleg Mitvol resigns
Deputy head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Oleg Mitvol has resigned, ITAR-TASS reports.
“I sent an application form to Minister of Natural Resources Yuri Trutnev to ask him for a holiday with following resignation on April 27,” Mitvol told the Prime-Tass economic news agency on Monday.
In his words, the minister signed his application.
Mitvol reiterated that he intended to resign. He sent in resignation in the beginning of 2008 when Vladimir Kirillov was appointed the agency’s head. But then Mitvol denied his resignation.
Then this problem was raised again after the Russian government reduced the number of deputies heads of services and agencies – from four to three people. There were reports that acting minister Syomen Levi signed a document on the resignation of Mitvol, but he continued his work on this post.
Mitvol said he had not decided on his workplace. At the same time, he did not rule out that he would be public servant.
