China to build 3 multifunctional ports near Russian border for $15 mln
China is to allocate $15 mln for construction of three multifunctional ports near China-Russia border. The ports are to appear in Tuntszyan, Jiamusi and at Big Ussuri, Xinhua cites the administration of Heilongjiang Province.
The new facilities are supposed to be both transport hubs and the centers for control of water quality, respond to pollution of trans-border water bodies at Russia-China border.
So, port of Tuntszyan located near the place where the Sungari enters the Amur River will have special equipment for oil spill recovery.
