Daewoo Shipbuilding wins US$75 mln sub order from Indonesia
South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Corp., the world's No. 3 shipyard, said Monday it has clinched a US$75 million deal to upgrade a submarine of the Indonesian Navy.
Daewoo Shipbuilding will deliver the submarine to the Indonesian Navy by 2011, the shipbuilder said, adding that it plans to participate in Indonesia's project to construct new submarines.
