Net loss of Wadan Yards Оkean (Ukraine) up 20-fold to UAH 131 mln in 2008

In 2008, net loss of Wadan Yards Оkean (Ukraine) increased 19.9 times to UAH 131.343 mln in 2008, the company reports.

The shipyard’s net revenue fell by 42.25% (or UAH 211.564 mln) to UAH 289.172 mln млн.

In 2007, the shipyard’s loss amounted to UAH 6.598 mln with net revenue increased by 8.7%, year-on-year, to UAH 500.736 mln. The shipyard is controlled by Federal Leasing Company (Russia). 

OJSC Wadan Yards Оkean (before December 2008 - Damen Shipyards Okean) specializes in production and repair of container carriers, tankers, tugs and barges with displacement of up tp 350,000 tonnes.
