“By the end of this year, the first stage, the capacity of which is 7 mln tons, will have been launched, and the flow of Russian fuel oil transported via Estonian ports will become smaller,” RZD-Partner cites S. Ivanov as saying today at his meeting with Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister.
He noted that until now there is no terminal specializing in fuel oil handling in Russian sea ports, so the RF had to export approximately 17 million tons of this cargo via Estonian ports annually.
At the meeting, Vladimir Putin allotted a task to define the borders of the port.
