Baltic Workboats (Estonia) to build six speedboats for Sweden

In the end of June Baltic Workboats, a boat constructor from Saaremaa,  signed a contract with the Swedish border guard to build six speedboats, Margus Vanaselja, the member of Baltic Workboats’ management board and big owner tells according to BBN. Those speedboats cost about EEK 300 mln. “We would like to hire 20 new people, from engineers to welders, this year. We haven’t laid off or lowered salaries. It’s actually very comfortable to run a business in Estonia. There’s no corporate income tax, general tax burden is relatively low. We just got EEK 24 mln export guarantee from Kredex. So one can’t say help doesn’t reach to entrepreneurs, but the packages should be bigger, more flexible and take entrepreneur’s needs to count,” Margus Vanaselja said.
