Russia's oil output (including gas condensate) increased 0.1%, year-on-year, in January-June 2009 to 242 million metric tons (1.77 billion barrels), the Federal Statistics Service Rosstat said on Wednesday according to RIA Novosti.
In June 2009, crude oil output expanded 1.4%, year-on-year, and 2.8%, month on month, Rosstat said.
At the same time, primary oil refining fell 0.8% in the reporting period to 115 million metric tons (843 million barrels), Rosstat said.
The Russian Energy Ministry earlier reported that Russia's oil exports fell 1.87% in January-June, year-on-year, to 122 million metric tons (895 million barrels) while crude supplies to Russian refineries declined 1.29% to 115 million metric tons (844 million barrels).
Natural gas output declined 20.8% in January-June 2009 year on year to 274 billion cubic meters (bcm), Rosstat said.
In June 2009, natural gas output declined 29.4% year on year and 9% month on month.
The Russian Energy Ministry earlier reported that gas consumption in Russia declined by 11 bcm year-on-year to 237 bcm in January-June 2009.
