On July 13, the Board of Directors of North Western Shipping Company OJSC elected Vladimir Kasjanenko as the Chairman of the company’s BoD, PR Department of NWSC reports.
Vladimir Kasjanenko was born in 1965 in Kazakhstan. He graduated from radio engineering department of Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy in1987 as radio engineer.
In 1988-1992 he worked as surveyor in transport company Saybolt.
From 1993 - holds a position of a Director of External Relations of the agency company Infitech-Baltica, from 1995 – Director of the technical management company INOK NV (Belgium).
BoD member of Volga Shipping OJSC and Western Shipping Company OJSC.
Candidate of Science.
North Western Shipping Company is Russia’s largest carrier specializing in transportation of loose and bulk cargo. Cargo transportation is carried out by 133 motor vessels including 68 vessels owned by the company and 36 chartered from Volga Shipping. The company carries 6.6 million tonnes of cargo per year.
