Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has considered a petition of MN Druzhba OJSC (Transneft subsidiary TRNFP) on acquisition of 100% in the authorized capital of Ust-Luga Bunkering Complex LLC and has approved the deal, PRIME-TASS reports according to advis.ru.
The core activity of MN Druzhba OJSC (Btyansk) is oil transportation by pipelines and operation of pipeline transport.
The core activity of Ust-Luga Bunkering Complex LLC (Kingisepp, Leningrad region) is construction works and construction management. According to the master plan of Ust-Luga port, only Ust-Luga Bunkering Complex could be used as a terminal of the Baltic Pipeline System – 2 (BPS-2) being built by Transneft. As Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov told PortNews IAA, the terminal in Ust-Luga port will be managed by Transneft.
