Tanker “Sakhalin Island” with 108 thousand tons deadweight, being in long time-chart for company “Sakhalin Energy”, is taking part in export of oil, which were produced at shelf of Okhotsk Sea since December 2008. Together with tanker “Governor Farkhutdinov”, which is also owned by PRISCO, she delivers hydrocarbons from Prigorodnoe. During 6 months vessels have had 23 loadings and delivered to buyers more than 2 million tons of oil.
It is a reminder that season oil export of project “Sakhalin 2” PRISCO tankers realizes since 2000. With starting the operation of terminal in Prigorodnoe and transferring for all year round loading and shipping, company “Sakhalin Energy” involved to work tankers “Sakhalin Island” and “Governor Farkhutdinov”. Their technical characteristics – necessary ice reinforcement and bow loading machine – allow using these vessels all year round.
