Vietnam's Vinashin to delay delivery of three Aframax tankers

Vietnam's top shipbuilder Vinashin will have to delay indefinitely the delivery of three Aframax oil tankers to the country's newly built Dung Quat refinery, it said in a report seen on Tuesday.
The state-owned shipbuilder said the project, its first attempt to build crude oil tankers, would be delayed for months due to its "financial difficulties", the company said in a government report.
The delivery of the first vessel, which was planned to transport crude oil for Dung Quat, was already delayed by nearly a year.
Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai said in the report the government would ask Petrovietnam, the vessels' buyer, to advance more fund to help speed up the project.
