Bunker sales in port Primorsk up 14.3% to 140.5 thou t in H1 09

In the first half of 2009, the volume of bunker fuel sold in port Primorsk increased by 14.3%, year-on-year, to 140.5 thou t. According to Primorsk Oil Terminal LLC, the company sold 140,042 tonnes of IFO 380 and 550 tonnes of MGO for 187 tankers.

In particular, Primorsk Resursy sold 15,000 t of IFO 380 and 200 t of MGO at oil terminal and 600 t of IFO 380 at oil product terminal; Gazpromneft Marine Bunker sold 40,520 t of IFO 380 and 210 t of MGO at oil terminal and 6,605 t of IFO 380 and 100 t of MGO at oil product terminal; RusBunker sold 44,700 t of IFO 380 and 40 t of MGO at oil terminal and 2,570 t of IFO 380 at oil product terminal. 

Primorsk is the largest port to export crude and oil products in the North-West region of Russia.  In 2008, the port handled 75,581.9 tonnes of oil and diesel fuel.
