In late May 2014, yet another batch of over-sized equipment weighing 150 freight tons was loaded to M/V Hooge at Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg by Incotec Cargo under the contract with Atomstroyexport CJSC. According to the shipper’s press center, the cargo is destined for construction of Tianwan NPP-2(China).

The largest components are 7.6 m long and 4.38 m wide.

Part of the equipment is transported in three FLAT RACK containers (40’FR). The shipment is to be delivered to China in mid July.

Earlier under the contract, Incotec Cargo shipped 1,650 freight tons of cargo by two vessels, Clipper Anit and Lena. 

For many years, Incotec Cargo has been a partner of Atomstroyexport CJSC in multimodal transportation of energy equipment for Tianwan NPP. In 2000-2003, the company was engaged in highway/railway/river/sea transportation of cargo from manufacturers via Saint-Petersburg. The volume of equipment transported for Tianwan NPP-1 totaled 35,500 t including 12 super-heavy components totally weighing 4,500 t.
