COSCON hikes rates for Transpacific trade

COSCON would like to announce General Rate Increase for all DRY and REEFER cargo from Far East and Indian Subcontinent Countries Region to USA and Canada Trade (East Bound) effective from July 1, 2014, the shipping company said in a press release.

The details of GRI are as follows:
For all cargo moving via all-water to U.S. West Coast and for intermodal cargo via these ports destined to points in the states of California, Oregon & Washington and Local Vancouver/Prince Rupert cargo:
Per 20' CTR                 USD 240
Per 40' CTR                 USD 300
Per 40' High Cube CTR   USD 338
Per 45 CTR                  USD 380

For all intermodal cargo and minilandbridge intermodal cargo via U.S. West Coast ports and Canadian Ports destined to points other than those in the states of California, Oregon and Washington and all cargo moving via all-water to U.S. East Coast and Gulf ports and for all intermodal cargo via these ports:
Per 20' CTR                  USD 320
Per 40' CTR                  USD 400
Per 40' High Cube CTR    USD 450
Per 45 CTR                   USD 506

Far East & Indian Sub-continent include: Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China Hong Kong, China Macao, China Mainland, China Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
