In January-May 2014, Transoil OJSC transported 5.2 mln t of oil cargo to Ust-Luga terminals, which is a 64-pct increase, year-on-year, the company says.
Deliveries of oil cargo to Luzhskaya station by Transoil’s own and rented rolling stock accounts for 26% of liquid bulk cargo transshipment at Ust-Luga port.
According to the statement, the positive dynamics should be attributed to the increased transportation of stable gas condensate produced by NOVATEK’s Purovsky plant.
In January-May, the share of gas condensate reached 34% of all Transoil’s transportations towards Luzhskaya station. Heavy fuel oil is still the main cargo in the structure of Transoil’s transportations to Ust-Luga.
Transoil was established in 2003 in Saint-Petersburg. Over the past ten years, Transoil has made impressive progress, transforming itself from a newcomer on the oil freight transport services market into a leading provider of transport and logistics services to major Russian petrochemical companies.
