Prosecutor's office investigators probe into ship and barge collision on the Nyurolka

Tomsk Transport Prosecutor's Office conducts probe into the collision of a motor ship and a barge on the river of Nyurolka, the regional Prosecutor's Office said.

According to preliminary results, on June 17, 2014 the M/V "BV-96", owned by LLC "TomskTransAvto", hit the Jurga Shipping Co. owned barge “GP-200-1” on the 60th km stretch of the Nyurolka river.

The barge's bow sustained a breach on the starboard, above the waterline. No one was hurt in the incident, no pollution reported. The barge is now afloat.
