Multipurpose Reloading Complex (Ust-Luga) puts into operation four new cranes

Multipurpose Transshipment Complex LLC (MTC, port Ust-Luga, Leningrad region) has put into operation two MANTSINEN 120R cranes and two KOMATSU WA420-3 loaders, MTC press center says.

MANTSINEN cranes with bucket capacity of 5 cbm are intended for coal railcars unloading. KOMATSU loaders with bucket capacity of 5.5 cbm will be used for loading of coal onto vehicles transporting cargo within the terminal territory. New equipment will make it possible to double the intensity of cars handling.

As of today, MTC operates 9 gantry cranes with cargo capacity of 16 to 32 t, 7 loader cranes, 9 bucket loaders and 4 fork lift loaders.

Multipurpose Transshipment Complex LLC (part of UCL Port –stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal at port Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) specializing in accepting and storing as well as export/import shipment of general and dry bulk cargo. In 2013, MTC LLC handled 3.5 mln t of cargo.
