Additional route for trucks across the Kerch Strait to be launched from November 1, says press center of the United Transport Directorate.
According to the statement, two ferry services will be available from November 1: port Novorossiysk - commercial seaport of Kerch and port Crimea – port Kavkaz.
The decision was caused by the growing demand for cargo transportation in the federal district of Crimea following the end of the holiday season.
“As two lines will be used for cargo supplies to the peninsula, base cost for transportation of a truck not exceeding 16.5 m length will be set at RUB 16,700 for Novorossiysk - Kerch service and RUB 14,700 for Crimea –Kavkaz service,” the statement says.
