RUSAL and FESCO sign agreement for freight forwarding at port Novorossiysk
RUSAL and FESCO Integrated Transport LLC (FIT, FESCO Transportation Group) have signed an agreement for forwarding of up to 1 mln t of RUSAL’s export cargo via port Novorossiysk. FESCO says the contract is signed for one year.
RUSAL CEO Vladislav Soloviev said: “Port Novorossiysk has always been one of the major export channels for RUSAL. So we are interested in optimization of the logistic chain and new partners in the region “.
According to FESCO President Konstantin Sokolov, “The new contract has been signed within the framework of the activities aimed at attraction of extra cargoes. It will let diversify FESCO activities.”
He also added that the activities would be coordinated via FIT’s office in Novorossiysk to ensure maximum efficiency of the work on fulfillment of the contract obligations.
