Industry leaders and innovation at Intermodal Asia 2015 exhibition
In its second year, Intermodal Asia is set to welcome a diverse range of high profile exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services, alongside engaging forums and conference sessions, to demonstrate the best of the intermodal sector. The prestigious event takes place from 24-26 March at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Conference Center, Molokinin Marketing reported.
Visitors to Intermodal Asia 2015 will see a range of exhibiting organisations including transport companies, port equipment providers, logistics companies, container lessors, container manufacturers, as well as paints and materials, software and tracking devices, and tank container related products.
Amongst the top Intermodal Asia 2015 exhibitors will include industry giants, Shanghai Railway Administration, CIMC (China International Marine Containers), Singamas, CXIC, DongFang, Seaco, MCI (Star Cool), Daikin, Triton, TAL, China Classification Society, Thomson Reuters, Florens, Textainer, Hempel, Chugoku Marine Paints, Globe Tracker, TOUAX, the Container Owners Association and their sponsors, the Renjan Group, UES, the IRU (International Road Transport Union) and many more. There will be over 160 exhibitors all showcasing various products and services.
“The inaugural Intermodal Asia in 2014 was a huge success and this year the event will be a lot bigger, with an even greater number and variety in attendance, providing more opportunity to do business,” says Sophie Ahmed, Event Director of Intermodal Asia 2015.
Intermodal Asia is organised by Informa Exhibitions, in partnership with CCIA (China Container Industry Association) and the Integrated Transport Federation of the China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA), as well as benefitting from the full support of the world’s largest container manufacturer, CIMC. CCIA will exhibit on stand J37 and CIMC will exhibit on stand E01.
“Intermodal Asia provides companies with a valuable platform to showcase their products and services to key clients – new and existing – whilst keeping up with industry development, and all over three days and under one roof,” says Sophie Ahmed, Event Director. “There will be some exciting innovations and technologies on display at Intermodal Asia 2015.”
The innovative 4FOLD foldable shipping container from Holland Container Innovations B.V. (HCI), launched at Intermodal Europe 2014 in November, is the world's first and only fully certified 40ft HCI foldable container. Demonstrations of the foldable container will take place throughout the three day event in the container park outside the venue, where there will be a number of other special containers on display including over 20 units from CIMC and units from Triton, MCI and Langh Group Cargo Solutions.
Alongside more than 160 exhibitors there will be a full programme of conference sessions and forums, which will take place inside the exhibition hall in the Strategy Theatre, the Innovation Theatre and, brand new for Intermodal Asia 2015, the Technology Theatre. All sessions will be free-to-attend, providing discussions on the topical issues and innovations in the industry today.
“The conference will cover a range of issues and innovations relating to the global container, transport and logistics industry; across the road, rail and sea sectors,” says Sophie Ahmed, Event Director. “To help attendees maximise their time at this year’s conference and exhibition, we have grouped conference sessions into special focus forums, including The BIC Container Safety and Standardisation Forum, a Cold Chain Logistics Forum, the @tco Asia Tank Container Forum, a New Silk Road Forum and a Shippers’ Panel.”
With some of the world’s leading names exhibiting their products, and with valuable, free-to-attend conference sessions in Mandarin and English, Intermodal Asia 2015 is a must-attend event for the entire intermodal industry.
