Aleksandr Romanov elected as Chairman of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port BoD

All the procedures on the change of ownership of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC have been completed, new Board of Directors January-September been formed with Aleksandr Romanov elected as its Chairman, says press center of MSFP.

OJSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer vessels. The company also handles break bulk, packaged, palleted and loose cargoes, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company operates 2,765-meter-long quay side, owns and operates harbor support fleet, handling equipment of 20GT lifting capacity, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and shunting locomotives. MMRP is licensed to perform at sea ports loading / unloading of cargoes of IMDG classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9. Depths at quay line reach 7.3 m (in the Northern Area), 8.7 m (Southern Area) and 8.9 m (at Coal Port). The port also has indoor warehouses (4864 m2) and outdoor storage yards (20,000 m2).

Thoughput at Murmansk Sea Fishing Port in 2015 fell by 10.8% to 371,400 tonnes.
