Sergei Larionov elected as Director General of Lena United River Shipping Company (photo)

Shareholders of Lena United River Shipping Company (LORP, Yakutia) elected Sergei Larionov as Director General of LORP. The decision was made at the annual general meeting on June 23, 2016, says the Company.

The shareholders also elected the Company BoD consisting of seven members and a revision commission, approved the Company’s report for 2015 and annual accounting report.

Besides, distribution of net profit for 2015 of RUB 29,675,000 was approved: RUB 1,483,750 – allocations to the reserve fund; RUB 16,197,082 – allocations to the production fund; RUB 3,000,000  - allocations to the social development fund; RUB 8,994,168 – dividends.

Lena United River Shipping Company is the only transport company operating in the Arctic area of the republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It transports freight and passengers along inland water ways and the sea routes. The company owns and operates a fleet of more than 350 units, including cargo ships, tugs, passenger and support vessels with the total capacity of 450,000 GT. The Republic of Sakha government has a majority stake in the shipping company.
