Loading at Russian Railways’ Oktyabrskaya branch up 10.4% to 59.3 mln t in 7M’16
In January-July 2016, loading at Russian Railways’ Oktyabrskaya branch totaled 59.3 mln t (+10.4%, year-on-year), the company’a press center says.
In the reported period, loading of iron ore – 13.8 mln t (+6.9%); construction cargo – 17.6 mln t (+26.4%); industrial feedstock – 1.5 mln t (+12.8%); forest cargo – 3.0 mln t (+9.2%); fertilizers – 9.4 mln t (+7.8%); crude and oil products – 7.0 mln t (-6.6%).
Cargo turnover in the 7-month period was 91.3 bln tariff ton-km (+1.3%). Freight turnover taking into account empty wagon runs was 119.1 bln ton-km (+0.5%).
In July Oktyabrskaya Railway loaded 9.3 mln t of cargo (+8.7%, year-on-year) including 2.9 mln t of construction materials (+9.3%), 436,700 t of forest cargo (+4.7%), 2.1 mln t of iron ore (+16.7%), 80,500 t of cement (+52.3%); 1.2 mln t of crude and oil products (-2.3%), 1.4 mln t of fertilizers (+7.0%) and 64,000 t of ferrous metal (+28.1%).
Cargo turnover in July was 13.5 bln tariff ton-km (+1.6%, year-on-year). Freight turnover taking into account empty wagon runs was 17.5 bln ton-km (+0.5%).
