Net profit of Krasnodar Krai, Russia based Tuapse Commercial Sea Port OJSC (TCSP), Krasnodar Territory) under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) in January-June 2016 jumped by 59% y-o-y to RUB 1,992,480,000 the stevedoring company said.
Revenue of TCSP for the half-year period increased by 25.1% to RUB 3,065,041,000. Gross margin grew by 31% to RUB 2,200,484,000, sales profit rose 34.2% to more than 2 billion rubles.
Tuapse Commercial Sea Port JSC (TCSP) is the major terminal operator in Tuapse, one of Russia’s largest ports. TCSP is part of UCL Port, a stevedoring division of international transport group UCL Holding. UCL Port comprises OJSC Sea Port St. Petersburg, CJSC Container Terminal Saint Petersburg, Universal Handling Terminal LLC based in North-West of Russia, and Taganrog port in the South. The Company’s fleet of handling equipment includes 28 gantry cranes with lifting capacity ranging 10 to 124 tonnes, 65 loaders and bulldozers. In 2015 cargo throughput at TCSP terminals reached 14.7 million tonnes.
