USC sees no obstacles for implementation of fishing fleet construction programme by 2030

United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) is ready to build 12 to 15 vessels of different classes (from small to large capacity vessels) per year, IAA PortNews journalist cites USC President Aleksei Rakhmanov as saying at the Eastern Economic Forum. According to him, building of 90 fishing ships by 2030 is not a difficult task taking into consideration that Russia also has non-USC shipyards able to fulfill such orders.

Aleksei Rakhmanov also said the share of localization can be as high as 52%, or even about 70% if a proper approach is applied.
