Russian Railways says it maintained the positive trend in the transportation of seafood caught in the Pacific Ocean during the 8 months of 2016 to August.
Since the beginning of the year, the Company has shipped more than 396,000 tons of Pacific fish from Russia"s Far East railway stations, which is 2.1% more than last year.
The most stable growth category was shipping fish in containers, which increased by 17% compared to the same 8 months in 2015 and amounted to more than 203,000 tons.

Since the beginning of the year, 70 such trains carrying more than 120,000 tons of marine biological resources have been dispatched from the railway stations.
