Baltic Workboats says it has signed a contract to build an ice-going passenger ferry for Stockholm archipelago in Sweden. The vessel will be 27 metres long and 6,5 meters wide with capacity to carry 150 passengers. Special attention will be paid to the new ferry's environmental friendliness as diesel-electric propulsion with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) and DPF (diesel particulate filters) is to be fitted.
Expected delivery is scheduled to be during summer 2018.
