Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) says its head Raivis Veсkagans stressed on the need to conduct financial audit of the enterprise and its subsidiaries in compliance with the international financial reporting standards.
Implementation of the audit will increase the transparency and publicity of USPA finances in order to attract international investment. This issue, among other aspects of cooperation, the Acting CEO of USPA discussed with leading international auditors.
The meeting on 2 February was attended by major auditors, such as KPMG, Deloite, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Ernst&Young, Baker Tilly, Grant Thornton and BDO International.
The audit may affect all the subdivisions of the enterprise: the head office and its branches. The tender for the definition of the company to conduct financial audit will be announced in the near future in Prozorro public e-procurement system.
