Freight turnover of Neva-Metal (Saint-Petersburg) in Jan-Aug'17 climbed by 3%, y-o-y, to 2.1 mln t

In January-August 2017, Neva-Metal CJSC (stevedoring company of Severstal) handled about 2.1 mln t of cargo, up 3%, year-on-year, the company told IAA PortNews.

In the reporting period, the company's container traffic totaled about 62,000 TEUs.

CJSC Neva-Metal is part of a transport division of Severstal Russian Steel of Severstal Group. Neva-Metal specializes in transshipment of containerized and general cargo delivered to its terminal in the 3rd Cargo Area of Big Port St. Petersburg by sea, railways and highways. In 2016, the Neva-Metal CJSC handed about 3.2 mln t of cargo.
