Frank Freight: The Electronic freight market system will not destroy brokerage institution
The Frank Freight Electronic Freight Market system will not destroy the brokers institution, the Frank Freight managers told IAA PortNews. Six months ago the company developed and launched the dedicated website.
Registration of cargo owners and shipowners in the Electronic Freight Market System is free of charge. This is a unique Internet project, envented without the involvement of freight brokers to ensure the selection of the necessary fleet for cargo owners and the search engine for ship loading.
However, the system developers say, there are shipowners who for one reason or another do not have their own personnel or are not willing to search for a load for their ships. These ship owners include banks, leasing companies, and other entities that have their fleet pledged as security. The broker can be log on the Frank Freight website as a representative of such a shipowner.
The program allows user to see visually anybody in person - a shipowner, broker, operator of the fleet - their actions to work with the cargo owner. So, with the help of this Internet website one can control how the broker works.
To use the service, one should log on the Frank Freight website.
The Electronic Freight Market is presented in a video available on the IAA PortNews portal >>>>
