Vympel Shipyard JSC (Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region) says its shareholders voted against delegation of powers of Vympel’s sole executive body to its managing organization - Concern Kalashnikov JSC.
The number of votes against the delegation of powers totaled 42,128 accounting for 62.6821% of the total number, for – 24,985 votes (37.1751%), abstain - 24 votes (0.0357%).
The meeting of the shareholders also approved the annual Performance and Financial Reports for.
It was decided to use the net profit of RUB 46.255 million to cover losses of previous periods and not to pay dividends.
The shareholders also elected the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.
Vympel Shipyard builds medium- light-tonnage seagoing and river vessels and boats both for military and civil sectors. Since its inception in 1930, the company has built more than 30,000 ships of various types. Over the past 40 years, the shipbuilding company has delivered more than 1,800 boats to 29 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. Vympel Shipyard is building serial combat missile / patrol boats of new generation, high-speed SAR boats, FF1 ships, hydrographic survey and fishing vessels, tugs and other dedicated fleet. Vympel Shipyard also provides warranty / maintenance service for its products.
Concern Kalashnikov acquired shares in Rybinskaya Verf and Vympel shipyards in 2015-2016.
