Marine Technics supplied a set of engines to refit gensets of vessels operating on the Yenisei river

Within the programme “High-speed fleet modernization in Russia” in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Marine Technics has supplied a set of engines to refit gensets on project 573Б, type Moskva, m/v Brest and Riga.

Marine Technics  says this replacement became possible due to engine development carried out by the production department of Marine Technics and Flagman design office: customized transition frames, couplings as well as new remote control systems and AWS have been elaborated.

The programme of fleet modernization is actively working in Krasnoyarsk Krai. The first vessel in the Yenisei basin upgraded within the programme in 2016 is m/v Zarya-343R. Diesel geared unit on the basis of MAN engine was specially chosen to operate on the Yenisei River and to pass Kazachinsky porog (current speed up to 20-22 km/h).

Marine Technics Company manufactures marine gensets with 20-500kW certified by RMRS and RRR. Gensets of 20, 30, 50, 64, 100 kW are always available on the Company’s production area and can be dispatched within 1 week.
