Border control authorities give nod to commercial vessels anchoring at location No. 11A in Ust-Luga harbour

The Border Directorate of the Russian FSB in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region at a meeting of its Coordination council held August 8, 2019 at the sea border crossing point in the Leningrad region based Port of Ust-Luga, has approved the decision to allow mooring of Russian and foreign flagged commercial vessels at the anchorage location No 11A, the port authority told IAA PortNews.

Those vessels that have not passed border, customs or other types of control procedures may temporarily use the above anchorage area if the seaport terminals are not ready to receive them.

In a previous report PortNews has told that the border control service decided to give permission to vessels to use for temporary mooring the anchorage locations No. 10 and No. 12 in the Gulf of Finland.
