Yaroslavsky shipyard launches diving ship '75 Let Pobedy’ built for Transneft UW Service

Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant has held a ceremonial launching of diving ship '75 Let Pobedy’ built for Transneft UW Service JSC, the company says in a press release.

The name '75 Let Pobedy’ was given to commemorate the anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War which is to be celebrated in 2020.

The ship intended for performing diving support works on pipeline underwater crossings throughout Russia. Despite its small size the ship provides comfortable accommodation of crewmembers and five members of special personnel. With its «О» 2,0 (ice 10) class the ship can operate in challenging navigation conditions and in brash ice.

Upon completion of mooring/sea trials and delivery to the customer, the '75 Let Pobedy’ will be deployed for operation in the basins of the Volga and Kama rivers from spring 2020.
