Small-size missile ship "Grad Sviyazhsk", frigate of the Caspian Flotilla missile ship "Dagestan" and missile ship "Tatarstan" returned to the home ports of Astrakhan and Makhachkala after successfully launching Kalibr cruise missiles in the Caspian sea, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
As part of the strategic command post exercise “Grom-2019”, Caspian Flotilla ships took part in the training as part of the naval group of the Flotilla.
Small-size missile ship "Grad Sviyazhsk" in the Caspian sea has successfully launched a high-precision cruise missile "Kalibr" on shore targets.
During the events, the level of preparedness of the military command and control units, and the skills of the leadership and officers in organizing command and control of subordinate troops (forces) were checked.
Their crews will replenish stocks of material means, will carry out service of arms, ship systems and mechanisms.
