Throughput of port Shanghai (China) in Jan-Sep’19 declined by 3.7% to 406.6 million tonnes

In January-September 2019, port Hong Kong (China) handled 406.6 million tonnes of cargo, down 3.7%, year-on-year. According to the port authority, container throughput of the port grew by 4.8% to 32.86 million TEUs.

In 2018, the port of Shanghai handled 561.29 million tonnes.
