Pipeline delivery of oil products to Ventspils down 3.7% in Jan-Sep 07, y-o-y

In January-September 2007, delivery of oil products to Ventspils by pipeline fell by 3.7%, year-on-year, to 5 million tones, Latvia’s Central Statistics Department reports according to RZD-Partner. In the third quarter 2007, the volume of oil products delivered to Ventspils by pipeline fell by 12.9% to 1.525 million tonnes. In 2006, the pipeline delivered 6.69 million tonnes of oil products (+22% against that of 2005). As for crude oil, its delivery ceased in August 2006. Trunk pipeline Polotsk-Ventspils is operated by LatRosTrans owned by Latvi-based Ventspils nafta and Transnefteprodukt OJSC.
