RAS net loss of Sea Port of St. Petersburg up 54.3 times in Jul-Sep, 07

In the third quarter of 2007, net loss of Sea Port of St. Petersburg under Russian Accounting Standard increased 54.3 times to RUR 52.658 million, the company reports according to RBC. In April-June, 2007, the company’s net loss amounted to RUR 25.993 million.

The Group of Companies of the Sea Port of St. Petersburg includes First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Third Stevedoring Company, Forth Stevedoring Company CJSC and a number of service companies. The Group’s share in cargo turnover of the Big Port of St. Petersburg is 22%. In 2006, the Group’s companies handled 11.800 million tonnes of cargo. Net profit of Sea Port of St. Petersburg under RAS totaled RUR 26.020 million in 2006, the proceeds amounted to RUR 771.800 million.
