In January-October 2007, First Container Terminal (PKT, St. Petersburg) handled 785,560 TEU (+8.3%, year-on-year), press center of National Container Company informs. In October of the current year the terminal handled 87,853 TEU, or 51,133 units (+7.3%, year-on-year). Turnover of refrigerated containers totaled 9,510 TEU (-5% against October 2006). In the reported period export totaled 43,605 TEU, import – 44,248 TEU. In September 2007, the terminal handled 69 vessels with average turnover of 1,273 TEU per vessel.
First Container Terminal (PKT CJSC) is a specialized container terminal located at the port of St. Petersburg. It is managed by the National Container Company.
